  • we truly never learn from history....

how was it that Hitler convinced his own people that they needed him?  he masterminded attacks, arsons, murders, financial chaos.... and he did it in a way that never left any blame on him.  he controlled media.  he caused the german people to believe that the only answer to their woes was a powerful government which was ready to save them.

instead, their world was wiped away and the world suffered very greatly for it.

go back to the time before the first world war.  you'll find that the government was not involved with education.  around the time of the New Deal government suddenly decided that it was very interested in public education.  where has 80 years of governement education gotten us?  it's lead us to people voting for mccain because he's a war hero or for obama because he's black.  it's lead us to believing that it's ok for congress to make up powers from thin air and spend our money without our consent.  it's lead us to a point where you can walk the streets of your city and be hard pressed to find anyone who really understands what's going on politically.  it's lead us to believe the media.

my dad teaches a government class at a christian school.  his seniors have surprised him this year by having real opinion and understanding of who they want to vote for and why.  he believes their generation will have an impact on government.  i fear it will be too late.  congress is too powerful already.  soon enough, we wont have the option to "alter or abolish" our government as we now do.

as our people continue to accept what the government feeds them, they will stay ignorant and apathetic until one day the government has nothing left for them.  at that point the only option will be a switch to socialism.  and i dont mean in the subversive way it exists right now.... i mean, on television, on pamphlets, in the streets.  i'll have to quit my job.  i wont enforce illegal laws.  and when they finally throw out our Constitution for a new State mandate, i wont enforce that either.

you know those movies, and those books, where a rebel rises from bondage to overthrow a powerful dictator?  i've dreamed of crazy stuff like that.  i've dreamed of being a Guevara.... but those dreams never included a possibility of actuality.  now i've got butterflies in my stomach when i think of the next 50 years.  it could get really scary.

and one last item:  in tijuana, mexico THIS PAST WEEK alone there were over 50 drug related homicides.  that makes over 400 this year.  the cartel is starting to murder their people on our side of the border.  does anyone other than me notice that the border is not secure?  and why is that?  we've got a terrorist-type group taking control of mexico as we speak and the u.s. decides that religious fanatics half way around the world are more important.

maybe you dont understand.... take some time and research on all the major news websites.  type in, "Mexico drug cartel".  you'll see.  real life war-lords are gaining control of the government very quickly through fear and violence.  the police are being targeted.  soldiers are being targeted.  officials have had their names posted on "death lists" and hung on banners around their cities.  that violence is already spilling over our open borders.  and i'm quickly becoming of the opinion that our government is letting it go on purpose.  there are many in congress and senate who make a lot of money off of war.  soon we'll be recalling our troops from the middle east and be reposting them in little mexican towns.  urban warfare on our homefront is emminent.  and dont think for a second that congress wont "obtain special powers" to do as they please once this war starts.

i hope that i dont sound like an end of days theorist.  but there will eventually be an end of days.  i dont think the worlds' end of days is near, but those of the united states most certainly are.

  • i find that my current interest in politics came at quite an interesting time.  "real change" was an idea that seemed distant.  not enough people spoke up so the majority brought about that needed "real change".

it's very sad to see this demise of the Constitution.  it was much like a slow bleed at first.  and i fear that it recently became infected and fatal.

with the government's nationalization of private corporations the boundaries have been broken.  anything is possible now.  i dont believe that despostism is a threat in america.... well... by man that is.  a theoretical central monarchy is a very present danger.  but what looms on our horizon is a break down of the economy which will put us through another depression which will reduce us to pathetic in world standings.  we will lose our power, our influence, and our sovereignty very quickly.  and if this issue with russia gets pushed much further i fear we will soon fight another large scale war.  i fear that american soil will see battle again.

all because those at the top could not adhere to the most brilliant letter of accountability next to Scriptures.

this is my thought... should we continue to enjoy life?  would it be easier to pretend nothing is wrong and just allow the government to continue with their heinous shenanegans?  or should we prepare for something worse?  should we be crazy Noah and start building arks and stockpiling food?  my military buddies are buying up ammunition and kevlar vests.

i truly believe that very difficult times are coming to our country.  i believe that the majority of our population has now become very comfortable with the hand-outs and "sue you because i'm fat" mentality.  this pending depression will hit these people very hard.  their ignorance and lack of preparation will cause chaos and panic.  and then imagine if the red flags of the east hit us from all sides at that moment.

the issue is that our world is too delicate.  no gas - no work - no food - crazy people.  no electronics - no records - no money - crazy people.  and already our government has teetered with that delicacy by buying worthless debt and spending worthless money and deciding that free markets are not good anymore.  this WILL all end.  and most of me believes that it will not end well.  after all... the traditionalists believe that america will have no say in end times.  it makes sense to me.  we are a haughty people.  we're just another empire in the story books of history with a renowned rise to power and a sickening demise.

  • we attacked you first

    imagine it:

obama gets elected the first black president of the US.  yipee.  about 7 months into his term china gives us a buzz and says, "hey guys... we're not too crazy about a black, socialist running your country.  you should put him out."  we say, "up yours."

after another year or two of china continually telling us this and sending diplomats to tell us some more, they come out and say, "ok... if you dont put obama out, we will."

then china shows up in force, basing their ops out of our plethora of chinese restaurants, and decides that obama is through.  a comparatively small militia is raised by the chinese, and a group of rednecks from kentucky blow up obama and his entourage one day.

china proceeds to put their arms around the remaining US leaders and say, "i'm so sorry for your loss... we've arranged some new leaders for you.  if you dont like it and if you dont turn over your obama supporters we'll start leveling your cities."

then they start leveling our cities and it's a shame that innocent civilians get in the way.

take those shoes and put them on the feet of the Saudis, Iraqis, Iranians, and Afghans that we are attempting to control today.  and i cant figure out for the life of me why in the hell they hate us.  why do they want to blow us up?  why do they blow themselves up?  why do they hijack our planes and destroy our buildings?  gee.... maybe it's because we determine that their form of government isnt like our own, and we have the god-given right to spread what brilliant democracy we've created to those unfortunate peoples who dont know better.  yes, that's it... our founding fathers had every intention of "liberty" being forced on the world we all descended from.  or is it the fact that our virtually bankrupt government has broken so many of its own laws that it now needs any excuse to acquire debt, spend borrowed money, and manipulate the media so that it can keep its criminal acts quiet to the ignorant, apathetic citizens who dont seem to mind anyways feeding the parasite they so love and need?

i'm starting to see a lot now.  i'm starting to very slowly understand what heinous things the US government has done and how violently it has violated the very Constitution it was established to protect.  perhaps the time for "altering" that "protector of liberties" has passed and now perhaps it is time for abolishment.  perhaps the fathers should have fought harder against the treasury department and other forms of powerful centralized government that Jefferson so wisely prophesied would claim "avarice and greed" over "honest, liberal men."

i'm now in limbo.  there are two roads.  one road is a ridiculously beautiful masquerade of riches and power beyond what those who desire it could ever truly hope to possess.  the other road is starting over - it's cobblestone path rough and not smooth, but durable, long lasting, and dependable.  i dont know which way to go.  my heart naturally leans towards what is good and right.  but my passions lie towards the easy and apathetic.  why should i care?  i can always leave and move to some moderate country whose establishments have survived a thousand years.  or i could try to fight.  i dont imagine that i would ever find any spotlight on the matter.  i dont imagine that i would influence that many people.  i dont presume that i would ever know or understand very much about the most political things.  but i could fight none-the-less.

    so i continue reading.
